The Team.
3 Sisters Development (3SD) is made up of Michelle Bloyd, Terri Smith and Lori Hogberg, all natives of Mediapolis, Iowa. Beverly Place is named as a tribute to their mother, Beverly, currently living in Burlington, Iowa.
Michelle Bloyd
Michelle is the founder, CEO and lead designer for Beverly Place. She has nearly 40 years of management experience in the Minneapolis area, and has worked as project manager on many single and multi-family homes and commercial properties. Michelle has a vast amount of knowledge and experience working with builders and sub-contractors and possesses outstanding relationship and communication skills. Prior to the creation of Beverly Place, Michelle owned and managed Cabinet Concepts and Interiors (CCI), with sales of $7 million, and a staff of 25. CCI became Mingle, LLC, a home design showroom with $40 million in sales and 55 employees. In addition to Beverly Place, Michelle owns M Bloyd Design, acting as a consultant for a variety of commercial and residential projects, both locally and internationally.
Terri Smith
Terri, of Des Moines, leads the business development and sales team. Terri has worked in the retirement housing industry for ten years and has toured hundreds of senior properties around the country, bringing the best of each to Beverly Place. She specializes in building relationships, solving problems and forging connections within the community. Terri has a strong background in account management, customer service and sales. She will act as the liaison between 3SD and the communities that Beverly Place serves, as well as seeking new opportunities for company growth.
Lori Hogberg
Lori, of Burlington, adds many years of customer service to the 3SD team. Lori is retired from the United States Postal Service, serving in both carrier and management capacities, and has held multiple leadership positions within the postal union. Lori will work primarily within logistics, ensuring a smooth transition from land acquisition to construction to move-in.
